Brand New Haier Portable AC part #CPN12XH9 did not work out of the box, it just gave an E2 error code. There is no error code sheet or maintenance manual with the product or available anywhere online.

Haier customer service will not supply an error code sheet or maintenance manual either. Call them if you do not believe it 1-877-337-3639.

After 2 weeks of following up the only thing they can do is exchange the unit which will take another two weeks to process and then ship...They will NOT send someone to fix it, send parts, or give a part number or maintenance manual so I can order and fix it myself.

What good is a product one cannot maintain or even use?

You deserve what you get if you still choose to purchase from Haier.

Monetary Loss: $312.
